At FirstLight® Home Care, we’re dedicated to hiring the kind of people we would trust with our own families for full or part-time positions. We’re currently searching for quality caregivers who are committed to making a difference in the lives of others for our clients in the Colorado Springs, Castle Rock/Parker, Woodland Park, Peyton area. For these folks, caregiving is not just a job – it’s a calling.

Shifts vary depending on clients' needs but are usually around 7:00 a.m./8:00 a.m. to Noon, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and sometimes evenings. Shifts can range from 3 hours to 12 hours. 

Caregiver responsibilities include:
  • Providing companionship and conversation
  • Preparing and serving meals
  • Help with personal care such as bathing and grooming
  • Light housekeeping and laundry
  • Shopping, errands, and transportation
  • Other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will:
  • Be 18 years of age or older 
  • Have previous caregiving experience (preferred but not required - we will train)
  • Be able to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Be able to execute full range of motion such as bending, reaching, kneeling, twisting, lifting
  • Have reliable transportation to be able to get to client homes
  • Be available to transport clients on errands or to appointments (mileage reimbursed)
  • Be willing to travel up to 25+ miles to see clients in surrounding areas (mileage/time reimbursed)

Compensation: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

This franchise is independently owned and operated by a local franchisee. Your application will go directly to the franchisee, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this local office. All inquiries about employment at this location should be made directly to the franchisee, and not to the FirstLight Home Care Support Center.
